Project Overview

Issues in Science and Technology wanted to increase its newsletter page engagement. My task was to utilize Reddit Ads to bring more active users to the /newsletter page on the ISSUES website. The campaign focused on generating clicks by creating an engaging ad to drive users to the ISSUES newsletter sign-up page.

Goals & Objectives

  • Increase the active users on the /newsletter page for Issues in Science and Technology.

  • Create an engaging ad that would entice Reddit users to click on

  • Optimize ad performance for a maximum amount of clicks.

How It Came Together

A paid Reddit Ads campaign was developed to effectively capture the attention of users and encourage them to sign up for the newsletter. The campaign utilized:

  • Ad Creative & Messaging: A compelling ad was designed, focusing on the thought-provoking content of Issues in Science and Technology. The ad invited users to subscribe for expert insights on science policy debates.

  • Targeted Audience Selection: Reddit’s advertising platform was used to target users interested in science, technology, and policy discussions, ensuring the ad reached a relevant audience.

  • Campaign Tracking: A UTM tag was implemented to track performance and measure the number of users driven to the /newsletter page.
